Don Eduard Campos is a third-generation coffee grower, descendent from the indigenous PIjao community. Sadly, his father passed away when Eduard was just 7 years old and since then his mother, his 2 brothers and himself have dedicated themselves to producing great coffees. Today they are considered leaders amongst the community of coffee growers in their region. The Buena Vista Farm is located in the Canyon de las Hermosas in the Central mountain range of the State of Tolima. The farm of 4 hectares is the economic support for their entire family, including brothers and mother, as well as his grandmother, who all live in the Municipality of Chaparral, located 3 hours from a main road. He shares a dedicated passion for his coffee plants “it pains me when we break even a single branch of these plants”. With the support of the Lutheran World Relief Fund and ongoing support of our own Innovakit, specially Hugo Lopez, they have continuously improved the quality of their coffee. After 3 years of this focus on improvement, Eduard Campos has won multiple international medals (AVPA Paris) which has allowed him to reap financial benefit for his family and himself. This coffee is known for its consistency and broad range of flavors in its cup profile. Our new Loring Roasters help bring the amazing fresh flavors of Eduard’s coffee to you.
